FAQs
Where do I go to book a stay?
To request a stay at the Greater Los Angeles Fisher House, guests must be referred by the medical team at the West LA VA Medical Center. Please speak with your VA social worker or care provider, who can assist with the referral and approval process.
How do I know if I qualify?
Fisher House serves military and veteran families whose loved ones are receiving inpatient care at the West LA VA. To qualify, guests must live more than 50 miles from the medical center and actively support a patient receiving treatment. All stays must be approved and coordinated through the VA.
What benefits are included?
Guests stay at no cost in private suites and receive access to shared kitchens, laundry facilities, and common areas. The house provides a supportive environment close to the hospital, allowing families to focus on healing without the financial burden of hotel or travel costs.
